Terms of use.
Acceptance
Red Stick Solutions, L.L.C., of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, publishes this website. Using it means you accept these terms; if you do not, do not use it. It creates no client relationship; only a signed engagement agreement does.
Permitted use
You may read, print, save and circulate this site inside your organization, vendor files and board packs included, and quote it with attribution to Red Stick Solutions, without asking. You may not republish it as your own work, sell it, or present it as another firm's.
Links
Links to primary sources are citations, not endorsements; those sites have their own terms.
What you send us
A message you send, through this site or by email, permits us to read it, keep it under the Privacy notice and answer you. Send only material you are entitled to share. Once signed, an engagement agreement governs what you send about that engagement.
Intellectual property
The site's text, structure, tables and original SVG diagrams belong to Red Stick Solutions; the photographs are public domain and the typefaces openly licensed (see Attributions). The name Red Stick Solutions and the phrase Develop. Defend. Deliver. identify this firm; no trademark symbol appears here, and none should be read into these terms.
Testing this site
Do not test this website without authorization: automated scanning, credential attacks, injection attempts and anything degrading it for others are outside these terms. Report a weakness under the disclosure policy below.
No warranty
This site is published as it stands. Regulatory material changes without notice, so the firm does not warrant that every statement on it is current, complete or correct on the day you read it. Verify anything you intend to act on against the instrument itself; Sources dates each one.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Red Stick Solutions is not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from a decision you made on the basis of it. This limitation is about the website. It does not touch a signed engagement agreement, which carries its own terms and its own allocation of liability.
Indemnification
If your use of this site in breach of these terms causes a claim against Red Stick Solutions, you agree to cover the firm's reasonable costs of dealing with it. This does not apply to a claim arising out of the firm's own conduct.
Termination
Red Stick Solutions may withdraw access, wholly or partly and without notice, from anyone breaching these terms. Sections that by nature survive, including intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law, survive the withdrawal.
Assignment
You may not assign these terms or any right under them. Red Stick Solutions may assign them to a successor to its business, which they bind.
No waiver
Not enforcing a term on one occasion is not a waiver of it. A waiver is effective only in writing, signed by the firm.
Severability
A term held unenforceable is narrowed as little as needed to make it enforceable, or struck out if it cannot be, and the rest stand.
Entire agreement
These terms are the whole agreement about use of this website and replace anything said before. An engagement agreement is separate; it governs its engagement and prevails where the two disagree.
Notice
Written notice goes to contact@redsticksolutions.com. No street address is published; a mailing address and registration details come on request and on every engagement contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. A dispute about this website is brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Louisiana, and both sides consent to that venue. Nothing here waives a right that cannot be waived under the law of the state you live in.
Copyright notices
If you believe material here infringes a copyright you own or control, write to contact@redsticksolutions.com, subject Copyright notice: identify the work and the material, give a way to reach you, and state your good faith belief the use is not authorized. We will look and reply.
Export and sanctions
Do not use this site, or anything taken from it, in breach of United States export control or economic sanctions law, or where your use of it is unlawful.
Electronic communications
Writing to us by the form or email, you agree we may answer by email and that an emailed answer satisfies any requirement for a communication in writing. Ask us to call instead and we will.
This site is not legal advice and it guarantees no one's compliance.
Nor is it regulatory advice, and reading it makes no one a client. Nothing on it guarantees compliance with any law, rule, regulation, supervisory guidance or contract; no page says a reader is compliant; and no engagement ends in an attestation, because this firm issues none.
Applicability is the part that most often goes wrong, so every obligation named on this site carries, in the same block, who it reaches and who it does not.
This firm builds the program and the evidence to the shape the instrument requires. Counsel confirms the legal reading for your state.
Dates here are facts from instruments, not deadlines this firm sets for you.
Vulnerability disclosure policy.
For reporting a weakness in this website; this domain's security.txt points here.
- In scope
- This website and this domain, and nothing else: the pages, the stylesheets and scripts this site serves, the contact form and the address it posts to on this site, and the publishing system behind them, meaning the software this site is published with and its plugins.
- Out of scope
- Every client system and any system Red Stick Solutions does not own or operate, including a client environment tested under separate written authorization, which governs it. The infrastructure of our host and email provider, third parties this firm cannot authorize anyone to test, sits outside this policy and its safe harbor: report a weakness there to us, untested, and we route it to its operator.
Prohibited activity
- Denial of service testing of any kind, including any test whose method is volume.
- Social engineering of the principals or anyone else connected to this firm, by any channel.
- Physical access attempts against any premises.
- Automated scanning that degrades this site for other readers.
- Password guessing, credential stuffing, or signing in to the publishing system with credentials not yours.
- Submitting the contact form with real personal information other than your own, or in volume.
- Accessing, copying, altering or keeping data not your own; if you reach it by accident, stop, tell us and delete it.
How to report
Write to contact@redsticksolutions.com, subject Security report: what you found, where, and how to reproduce it. Plain text and one report per issue beat a scanner export.
What to expect
We acknowledge a report within one business day and say what we intend to do. We publish no remediation service level, but tell you our actual timeline. Give us a reasonable period to fix a confirmed weakness before you publish; we agree it in our first reply.
Good faith safe harbor
If you act in good faith and inside this policy, Red Stick Solutions will not pursue legal action against you for the research and will not refer you for it. To the extent it is ours to give, we treat research conducted within this policy as authorized. That protection follows the policy: it does not cover anything in the prohibited list above, and it does not extend to any system this firm does not own or operate.
No bounty
Red Stick Solutions pays no bug bounty, runs no reward program and offers no payment here. Ask, and we credit you by name for a report we act on.
Accessibility statement.
This site is built to target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We do not claim conformance we have not tested. Meet a barrier? Write to contact@redsticksolutions.com with what happened and where; we reply within one business day.
Built to do
Design decisions, checked in the markup and on the published build, not a passed test:
- a skip link first, one h1, named landmarks, no skipped headings;
- keyboard navigation complete with scripting off;
- tables in named regions, wide ones stacking on a narrow screen;
- a one sentence description on every figure;
- question and instrument blocks that open for printing;
- a two ring focus indicator on cream and navy;
- no drag, no animation, no meaning in color alone;
- text alternatives on photographs, which carry nothing the text lacks.
Attributions and licenses.

Photographs
Six photographs, one per page, none of a person, each dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal: no credit is legally required, and each is credited anyway. Each was downloaded once and is served from this site; the asset record of source, license, check date and file hash renders these rows.

Revision history.
